J&S Produce was a Chicago based wholesale restaurant supply company with a concentration in produce which owned and operated out of its 40,000 sq. ft. in Chicago. Robert Marcus, represented the largest PACA creditor and acted as PACA trustee for all creditors.  As part of his duties, he successfully identified and recovered PACA assets including accounts receivable as well as disgorgement of assets being held by third parties.

Chapter 11/PACA – Illinois

Michael’s Market was a collection of seven (7) retail grocery stores in the Chicagoland area.  Robert Marcus, represented the largest individual PACA creditor and in cooperation with the other PACA creditor’s attorneys, represented PACA’s interest in both the Bankruptcy Proceeding as well as the Federal PACA suit.  Additionally, Mr. Marcus, in cooperation with his team, managed the day-to-day operations of grocery stores, liquidated assets (fixtures, equipment, inventory, leases, and real estate), and transitioned going concerns to the new owners.
